From Idea to Income: My First Paying Customer + A New Chapter
I’ve got some real news to share.
After putting in the time, building this site from scratch, and working through all the trial and error, I finally landed my first paying customer.
It might not seem like a big deal to everyone, but for me, it means everything.
This is proof that the idea works.
Proof that the effort is paying off.
And most importantly, proof that someone trusted me enough to pay for my service.
That first payment wasn’t just money—it was validation.
The first job wasn’t anything fancy. It was straightforward work—helping with hauling and getting something done that needed to be done.
And that’s exactly the point.
I’m not trying to look big. I’m trying to build something real.
Every business starts somewhere, and this is mine.
With that momentum, it’s time to take the next step.
mv-scc.com is transitioning to:
ruralivery.com
The original name served its purpose, but the vision has grown beyond that.
This isn’t just about one community anymore. The goal is to build something that serves rural areas more broadly—connecting people with services, work, and solutions that are often hard to find.
What this means:
Rural communities need better access to reliable services and opportunities.
That’s what I’m working toward.
Not all at once. Not overnight.
One job at a time.
One customer at a time.
One step forward at a time.
To my first customer—thank you for taking a chance on me.
You helped turn this from an idea into something real.
And to anyone following along or supporting in any way, I appreciate it more than you know.
I’ll keep building.
Not just code, community empowerment.
